In the 80's I would spend hours in my Grandad's (Donald Woodland) shed in Crewkerne, "What do you want to make today ?" he would ask...

From kites and planes to birdboxes and planters, we made so much and shared so much love along the way.

From the late 90's and still now i have a huge passion for wood work, making truly personalised gifts and seeing the expressions when people see their gifts for the first time gives us such a buzz!!

We absolutely pride ourselves on quality.

All items are made by Scott and finished by hand.

Carrying on the thought of "If a job's worth doing" from the start of the process we take extra time working with you to ensure our design is perfect, personally selecting the timber, finishing all items to the highest standard, we use a large selection of the best oils, waxes and other finishes to provide a stunning look and long life.

Process

Most of the pieces we make are designed with the customer, the possibilities are endless but after a few simple questions to understand and agree the concept the design work starts.

All items are made by me Scott Woodland, at home, wherever possible we use locally sourced wood and love to recycle / upcycle where possible.

1) Get in touch (call, e-mail or drop us a message to get started).

2) Discuss the design (normally a couple of messages but always happy to talk).

3) We create the design for free (sending with a quotation for your review / approval).

4) Make changes to ensure it's perfect.

5) Design is agreed (we will send a payment request).

6) We get to work.

7) We aim to deliver most items within a week, larger commissions may take longer.

We don't want to compete with cheap, low quality, high volume production, it's not what we're about.

Our aim is a quality product that stands the test of time, we want you and your lucky gift recipient to be delighted by the end product.

We are lucky enough to see the emotion when some people collect in person and work tirelessly to maintain our 5* feedback.
